Sisters

A yuletide photo shoot produced this jolly image of my cousin's girls, Alma and Callie. I love the colors in this photo and the big sister, little sister love. Oh, and let's not leave out little Callie's blueberry eyes and Alma's happy grin.

I Love My Mummy

This precious little mummy stayed in costume just long enough for me to shoot a few photos and then he added another layer to the saying "That's a wrap," er, un-wrap you might say.

The Brothers Bast

I knew I'd find a way to use those wedding suits again. I took this picture of the boys on an old bench in my hallway then added the spooky eyes, the spider, and distressed it to look like something you'd find in an old victorian haunted house.

Have a Ball

This is the invitation I made for our Halloween Bash this year. They were a big hit, but as you can see the problem is they don't mail well, so they have to be hand delivered. In this picture I used a plastic ping-pong like eyeball, but in the actual invites I handed out it was made of chocolate.

Casa Couture

My sister, Mara, is going to school for interior design and asked if I would design a would-be business card for her would-be company. I did my best to match the card to what I thought was her personal style. Keep your eyes out for the next Nate Berkus in female form, folks!

Ethan's 1st Birthday

front

inside of card
"snaps and snails and puppy dog tails, that's what little boys are made of."

It's Spring and when you're turning 1 what's better than being in the backyard and hunting down bugs, snakes, frogs and all things slimey?

Izzy

This photo was taken of our late dog, Izzy, just a few days before we had to put her to sleep. She wore that expression on her face constantly for the last few weeks of her life, sad yet still attentive and hopeful. Izzy was Isaak's first word (after Mama) and now those boys are still asking for her.

Baby Callie

My cousin just delivered her second beautiful baby girl, Callie Jean. This is the baby announcement I made for them. The pink and gray image is printed on translucent cellophane paper and attached to a pink flat card with ribbon. I love that it looks like that sweet baby is sleeping on a bed of soft feathers, or at least something equally as soft.
